COMPANY PROFILE

Established in 1987, Rapallo is a high performing consulting group servicing the mining, oil & gas, public infrastructure and heavy industrial sectors. Our services include Engineering & Project Management, Asset Integrity Management and Environmental consulting.

We are independently owned and based in Western Australia, whilst operating on a local, state, national and global basis. We pride ourselves on being easy to work with, qualified, multi-skilled and practical. With a strong depth and breadth of experience, our team can ramp up or down at a moment’s notice in response to your project requirements.

Rapallo Group is chaired by Andy George FIE (Aust), owner and founder. A mechanical engineer, Andy built Rapallo into what it is today from the ground up. Now the company is led by team of multi-disciplinary professionals, inspectors, engineers, environmental scientists, technicians, and tradesmen whose experience spans the resource, construction, oil and gas, public infrastructure, and heavy industrial sectors.

Andy is a mechanical engineer with over forty years’ experience in mining related engineering consulting and contracting.

He developed his engineering and business skills through a twenty-year career with Western Mining Corporation in maintenance, design and construction of gold, nickel and copper hydro and pyro-metallurgical plants before branching into his own consulting and design business in 1987.

Andy built Rapallo from the ground up, and with the help of the Rapallo team he turned the company into the high performing business that it is today.

Since then has executed a variety of projects for clients such as BHP, Rio Tinto, FMG, the Water Corporation, and other large clients, he has also championed the strategic development of several business units within Rapallo helping the company become what it is today.

Recently deployed within the Gruyere Gold Project owners team, Michael was uniquely positioned to support both construction activities and operational readiness needs. Items would have otherwise been over sought were tabled and tracked through to completion during the rapidly changing construction and commissioning periods.
